Forbes released the annual list of the highest paid actors world wide.
1.Robert Downey Jr., $80 million
Robert Downey Jr. is an American actor best known for his iconic role in the Iron Man series. Three of the films starring Downey Jr. (The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Iron Man 3) each earned over $1 billion. He has topped the Forbes list of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors for three consecutive years.
2.Jackie Chan, $50 million
Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong actor, martial artist, film director, producer, stuntman, and singer. Featured in more than 150 films, he is notable for his acrobatic fighting style and original stunts. A devoted philanthropist, Chan has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. With the help of highly profitable franchises such as Dragon Blade, Chan made $50 million in the past 12 months.
3.Vin Diesel, $47 million
Diesel is an American actor, director, screenwriter, and producer best known for his portrayals of Dominic Toretto in The Fast and the Furious film series and Richard B. Riddick in The Chronicles of Riddick trilogy. Between June 2014 and June 2015, Diesel earned $47 million, which made him the third highest paid actor of the year.
4.Bradley Cooper, $41.5 million
Cooper first gained recognition in the spy-action television show Alias and the television drama Jack & Bobby. He later appeared in supporting roles in the romantic comedies Wedding Crashers (2005), Yes Man (2008), and He’s Just Not That Into You (2009). His breakthrough role came with the comedy franchise The Hangover trilogy (2009–13) that earned him international fame.
5.Adam Sandler, $41 million
Sandler is a popular American actor, comedian, screenwriter, entrepreneur, film producer, and musician. Featured in films that combined have grossed over $2 billion at the box office, he is best known for his comedic roles in films such as Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Wedding Singer and Big Daddy. He has also appeared in more dramatic roles in movies like Punch-Drunk Love, Spanglish, and Reign Over Me.
6.Tom Cruise, $40 million
One of the biggest movie stars ever, Tom Cruise has starred in many blockbusters such as Top Gun, Mission: Impossible, Rain Man, Minority Report, The Last Samurai, War of the Worlds and many others. A holder of three Golden Globe Awards, Cruise was the Hollywood´s highest paid actor in 2012.
7.Amitabh Bachchan, $33.5 million
Amitabh Bachchan is the oldest of the Bollywood actors listed in the ranking. Featured in almost 200 Indian films, Bachchan has won numerous major awards in his exceptionally long career, including three National Film Awards as Best Actor. In 2013, he even made his Hollywood debut in the epic drama The Great Gatsby, in which he played a non-Indian Jewish character.
8.Salman Khan, $33.5 million
